The summer is getting away quickly. Have you had a chance to see a sunrise or sunset? Have you had an opportunity on these clear nights to gaze at the summer sky? It is said by the Scripture that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. This week we are reminded that our opinion of God is seen in the treatment of the holy. We should bring glory to God. Mother never wanted me to go to school without a bath or brushing my teeth because she wanted people to think of us as clean. I know that sounds funny to us, but brother and I were a reflection of our family. So it is with those in leadership at church, our care for the scripture and the affairs of “Church” reflect upon Christ and we are called to bring Glory to God first. To love God—totally, if you will, and give Him first place in our decision making. See you Sunday. Barry
