Master’s Way is responsible for operation of the Salvation Army Mobile Canteen on the fourth Wednesday and last Sunday of each month.   

Here’s what to expect when you volunteer:

ü      Show up at the Salvation Army Lodging Office at 5:15 PM.  (**directions below)

ü      There will be an experienced driver and volunteer with you
to direct the team, so don’t worry!

ü      Ride in the van to two locations in downtown Huntsville.  At each stop you will handout plates of food to needy folks from the van service window.  Smile a lot.

ü      Expect to be done by about 7 PM. 

**The Salvation Army Lodging Office is located at 305 Seminole Drive.

Heading into Huntsville from Madison on I-565, take the Governor’s Drive exit.  The last traffic light before you get to Memorial Parkway is Seminole Drive.  Turn left, and in a short distance you will see the Salvation Army on the right. Drive through the chain link gate, and you can park in front of either the first building (dining hall) or the second (lodging facility).  You will see the canteen parked at the far end of the dining hall.
