Mother's Who Make a Difference, Exodus 2:1 - 2:4

5/10/2009

THANKS FOR READING—I think I shouted when learning the school is open and our prayers answered.  As I write a beautiful lyric from the Casting Crowns song, Voice of Truth proclaims, “the Voice of truth says, do not be afraid!” I am not prone to ask favors of you, but this past week’s uncertainty has been one of the most challenging obstacles to our young church and my leadership.  I want the trial to grow us.  Would you take my hand and make a special effort to join your brothers and sisters at Worship this week?  I really want to turn an uncertain time and test of our faith into a victory celebration.  We are people of the resurrection!  Help us hoist the banner of Christ and bring Glory to our God who cares for us.  Invite a friend or relative, or even better, your mom, and join us.  It is also Mother’s day. President Woodrow Wils on proclaimed the second Sunday in May as Mother's Day. He established the day as a time for "public expression of our love and reverence for the mothers of our country.”  We will honor (reverence) Christ in our mother’s Sunday and hear the call to perfect love.  Join us for a victory celebration.

Your Servant in Christ,

Barry
