The Way of Discipleship; 11 Timothy 3:14-17

Leanard Ravenhill was a very popular writer when I was in college.  In his work, The Last Days Newsletter, he tells about a group of tourists visiting a picturesque village.  They walked by an old man sitting along a fence. In a rather patronizing way, one of the tourists asked, "Were any great men born in this village?" The old man replied, "Nope, only babies." A snobbish question brought a profound answer.  Our growth as followers of Christ is the result of the decisions and disciplines of our everyday living.  I hope to see you Sunday.
