I was impressed with the thoughts of John Killinger, a versatile Christian writer and preacher.  He once wrote in his book on worship, Leave It to the Spirit, “The truth is — and in this Judeo-Christianity differs from many primitive religions — that the sacred is only where God is, not that God is where the sacred is… When He has moved on, the place where He was is no longer truly sacred.”   The issue is not the place, but the presence of God.  Do we want to change the world?  Then we must live by the power of the Holy Spirit.
